- 1 kg raw chicken
- 3 glass raw rice
- 4 chopped onions
- 6 chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2-3 tbsp oil
- 6 glass water
- To taste salt
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chicken masala
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
Instructions to make to make Chicken Biryani
- Wash & soak the rice for 20 minutes. Wash the raw chicken properly with fresh water 2 -3 times.


- Heat 2-3 tbsp of oil in a karahi.when it heatsup,add bay leaf,when it becomes black. Add chopped onions,ginger l Cook on low flame till they become brownthen add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt,saute for a second & add chopped tomatoes.

- Cook till tomatoes becomes smooth then add raw chicken & mix well.

- No need to add water,cook till oil spreads from corners. Now add 6 glasses of water.

- Drain water from the soaked rice & add these rice & garam masala to the cooked half chicken gravy.Mix well & cover it with the plate.



- Slow down the flame & cook for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes switch off the flame & garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with curd.
